About Dr. Herrera-Martinez, MD
"Dr. Herrera-Martinez is a dual board-certified Dermatologist and Mohs surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. He has four children and enjoys traveling, cooking, and family time.
Raised in Michigan, Dr. Herrera-Martinez developed a strong foundation in science and medicine, graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's degree. Go Blue!
He went on to earn a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and compassion inspired his approach to patient care.
Following medical school, Dr. Herrera-Martinez completed a rigorous dermatology residency program at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, honing expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diverse skin conditions.
To further specialize in the management of complex skin cancers, Dr. Herrera-Martinez pursued a Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship at the prestigious Harvard University.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Herrera-Martinez was recognized with the Teaching Resident Award during his fellowship at Harvard by the Dermatology Department. This honor reflects his commitment to sharing knowledge and mentoring future generations of dermatologists.

About Rachel Escobar, FNP-C
Rachel brings over 14 years of experience in bedside nursing, caring for both adults and children with compassion, patience, and dedication. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University, building a strong clinical foundation that supports her thoughtful, patient-focused care.
What Rachel loves most about dermatology is the opportunity to help patients with concerns that often feel personal or even burdensome. She understands that skin, hair, and aesthetic concerns can deeply affect confidence and self-esteem, and she is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. Helping someone feel comfortable and confident in their own skin is what inspires her every day.
Outside of the office, Rachel is a busy and proud mom of four. She cherishes time with her family, loves traveling to new places, and enjoys running whenever she can find a quiet moment.
